We’re doing this again, but different.

This team knows each other well. It’s no coincidence that our kitchen, bartenders and waitstaff have all worked together before. Over the last decade, friendships, partnerships and marriages were formed. So, when we decided to open our own spot for the first time, all we needed to do was ask for our team to reassemble. Collectively, our resume is long, eclectic, and frankly impressive. But what really matters is the determination to success as one whole unit. A rising tide raises all ships, and we’re ready to flood this town.

Catbird is for anyone who loves great food and good company without the pretense. A place that feels tucked away and a little special, but still unmistakably South Berwick. Familiar, warm, and fully ours.

The food is seasonal and local, with influences from our past lives in other states and trips to different countries. We take every chance we have to be authentic and create art, without taking ourselves too seriously. Our goal is to remain as genuine as possible, so our work speaks for itself.

We’ve always believed the best things shouldn’t be exclusive. They just need to be made with care, served with heart, and shared with people who actually enjoy being here.
